A roof leak is two problems: the roof and everything under it
When water gets through a roof, the damage does not stop at the shingles or tiles. It soaks the underlayment and decking, the attic insulation, the ceiling drywall and often the walls below. If only the roof gets repaired, wet materials inside can keep deteriorating and grow mold.
FirstLine handles both sides of the problem. Our roofing crew dries in the roof with an emergency tarp or temporary repair, and our restoration crew extracts water, maps moisture and dries the interior. Once conditions are stable, we make the permanent roof repair or replacement under our roofing license and rebuild the interior under our general contractor license.
We work on shingle, tile, metal and low-slope systems, with attention to Florida Building Code and High-Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements where they apply. For planned roof replacements without interior damage, our dedicated roofing division, FirstLine Roofing, handles the project.

Roofer and restoration contractor in one
Most roofers do not dry interiors, and most restoration companies cannot legally replace a roof. FirstLine holds both a Florida Certified Roofing Contractor license and a Certified General Contractor license, so one company is responsible for the whole repair.
Florida law prohibits contractors from offering gifts, rebates or deductible waivers in exchange for a roof inspection or claim. We do not do it, and you should be cautious of anyone who does.

Do you offer emergency roof tarping?
Yes. We provide emergency tarping and temporary dry-in when a roof is leaking or storm damaged, as soon as it is safe to get on the roof.
Can you fix the ceiling damage too?
Yes. We dry the interior to a verified standard and then repair ceilings, insulation, drywall and finishes as a licensed general contractor.
Do you waive insurance deductibles?
No. The consumer is responsible for payment of any insurance deductible. Florida law makes it insurance fraud for a contractor to pay, waive or rebate any part of a deductible.
Do you pull permits for roof work?
Yes. Roof repairs and replacements that require a permit are permitted and inspected under our Florida roofing license.
